The approach

Three things every plan is built on

01

Diagnostic first

Before the first real lesson, we find out exactly which concepts are shaky and which are solid — so time is spent where it actually matters.

02

Focused classroom batches

Batches stay capped at 15 students — enough for a real classroom feel, small enough that no one gets lost in the back row. Extra help on a specific topic can always be arranged separately, on top of the regular schedule.

03

Progress you can see

A short review every few weeks, shared with parents, tracking what's improved and what's next — no surprises at report-card time.

Subjects

What we teach

Grades 8–10 cover Mathematics and Physical Sciences together; grades 11–12 focus on a single subject — Mathematics or Physics — so every session goes deep rather than wide.

Mathematics

Algebra, geometry, trigonometry and board-exam problem solving, built from first principles.

Physical Sciences

Physics and Chemistry fundamentals for grades 8–10, explained with everyday examples, not just formulas. Grades 11–12 focus specifically on Physics.

Board exam preparation

Focused revision, past-paper practice and time-management drills in the run-up to exams — tailored to CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE or IB assessment patterns.

Study skills & habits

Note-taking, planning and revision techniques that carry over to every topic.

Gudidevuni Mallikarjun

Founder & tutor, Disha Insights Academy

I started Disha Insights Academy because I've watched too many capable students quietly decide they're “just not a Math person” or “bad at Physics.” In more than 20 years of teaching, I've found that's almost never actually true — usually it's one shaky concept from a year or two back that never got sorted out, quietly piling up underneath everything the syllabus has added since.

Those 20-plus years have taken me through school classrooms and one-on-one sessions, working with students across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and IB boards. I started this Academy to bring that same close, diagnostic attention into a proper small-batch classroom — capped at 15 students — so it still feels personal, with the structure and accountability of a real program.

What hasn't changed in 20 years is the part I care about most: sitting with a student until a concept actually clicks, not just gets memorised for Monday's test. If you've got a child who's stuck, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

Common questions

Before you book a consultation

How are batches sized, and what if my child needs extra help on a specific topic?

Batches run up to 15 students — enough to keep a real classroom feel, while staying small enough for every student to get noticed. If a particular topic needs more focus, before a test or just to close a gap, ask about arranging an extra class during the free consultation.

What if the weekday schedule doesn't work for us?

That's exactly what the weekend-only track is for — two 2-hour sessions, Saturday and Sunday, between 8:00–10:00 AM, covering the same material at the same monthly fee as the weekday track.

Can we choose between the morning and evening weekday slot?

Yes — weekday sessions run either 6:00–7:00 AM, or a 1-hour slot within the 4:00–8:00 PM evening window. Let us know your preference during the consultation, and we'll confirm the exact slot based on current batch availability.

How do virtual sessions work if we're outside Hyderabad?

Virtual sessions run over video call on the same weekday or weekend track as in-person batches, with the same diagnostic-first approach and progress reviews — only the delivery format changes. Availability depends on current batch timings.

Does the fee cover one subject or both?

For grades 8, 9 and 10, the monthly fee covers both Mathematics and Physical Sciences together. For grades 11 and 12, tutoring is single-subject — Mathematics or Physics — since board-exam preparation goes deeper at that level.

Is the first consultation really free, with no obligation?

Yes — it's a short call to understand grade, board, subjects and where things currently stand, and to answer any questions you have. There's no cost and no pressure to sign up afterward.

How soon can we start after the consultation?

Once a plan is agreed on, a batch slot in your chosen track is usually arranged within a few days, depending on current availability for your grade and preferred timing.
